Hey, do any of you know of a mouse that has (4) buttons located on the left that is an optical mouse.

I need (4) buttons to fix a configuration issue I am having with another game.

Mouse can't suck - needs to be optical, not laser & as light in weight as possible also.

SERIOUSLY WANNA BE GOOD AT FORTNITE AHHHH

Hey Cyrus --

Check out RocketJumpNinja's site -- he does some great mouse reviews. Surfing around a bit it looks like the Corsair Sabre might fit your requirements, but I didn't do a deep dive on the video and needs/wants in a mouse are subjective (96g might be a little heavy but it's still on the lighter end). Plenty of folks like Logitech's stuff but they seem to me like really heavy peripherals, and their side button placement on the G-series designs just don't look easy to hit. I'm sure they're great, but not for me. Like I said, lots of subjectivity with mice, and it's a bit of a crapshoot at the end of the day since you can't really try before you buy. Overall I'd say stay away from Razer's stuff given your requirements -- the build quality isn't great and the ones I've used have been quite heavy with unsatisfying, even confusing, button feedback. 4 side buttons on what sounds like very much a shooter's mouse (lightweight or lighter, very precise etc) might be a tough find, but there should be at least one or two models out there to take a look at.

It doesn't meet your 4x side button requirement (as it only has two usable ones at a time depending on handedness), but I bought a Zowie FK2 earlier this year and love it. Lightweight (92g I think), evenly balanced in terms of shape and weight distribution, little bit small (took some getting used to as I use a palm grip and it favors fingertips), very responsive/accurate sensor, really heavy scroll, ambidextrous design (though I only use it right-handed)...and admittedly kind of expensive ($75). I was looking for something to emulate Microsoft's old WMO 1.1a from the mid-2000s (just two buttons + wheel/click, 400DPI, slow polling rate compared to modern mice, and a feathery 86g) -- I was using the same one for nearly 10 years and it's still holding up okay in a pinch...mostly because I refused to unbox the spare I bought last year. Given that anecdote, if you're up for some experimentation and don't mind skipping a meal out or two, it can be totally worth it to try cheap peripherals -- the WMO 1.1a was just $10 when I got it back in 2009...but $50 when I bought the spare! They were pretty popular in some pro CS circuits I think.
