Those pictures are absolutely beautiful! I've never seen the aurora borealis before, that would be soo cool! I'm also amazed at the amount of stars you can see from your location! Very little light pollution in Washington I guess. Lucky!! I like to star gaze. Recently I went to a nearby lake to watch the Perseid meteor shower. I only saw 3 meteors the whole night (too many clouds ), but one of the meteors I did see streaked across the sky! Never seen one last that long before! I wish I had a picture.
