I gotta hand it to Merl.

Great job in io Merl....well played. If you are curious as to how Merl beat me....well....he used one highly effective tactic over and over and over and over....but I've now figured out how to neutralize that tactic. answer: deafen myself on mumble when playing Merl.

If i'm playing seriously I usually close out mumble, so yeah that's a good tactic haha

I think Merl simply records a few phrases such as "You hack!" "Clear evidence of cheating!" "I've never seen a more pu$$ified way of playing this level!" "That had to hit you square in the d*ck!" etc... and then presses play/repeat/loop.

Effective Merl...effective.

Now you'll have to 'type' them in game vs me going forward for ladder matches

so set up your macros i guess.

With the parade of new players coming through mumble, deafening yourself defensively might not be a bad idea in general these days!

It's too bad, though. I like to be able to talk to my opponent a little, that makes the game more fun for me.
