Finding Descent players who aren't on the DCL

I like to go looking for people on the dxxtracker and on Twitch and getting them acquainted with the DCL and that yes, other people do still play this game. Today I had the first guy who used retro but didn't know what the DCL is lol. He's in Brazil and plays with 2 friends, and has never heard of Loni.

There's also Monster who hosts usually D1 but also D2 co-op and then plays through the whole game on ace. He'll do this 3-4+ times a week and has been going at it for months now. I think he just really likes D1 single player lol.

I don't have Kali, but has anyone tried going on there and bugging the players who are still there (according to facebook posts they average around 20? people hanging out) to join the DCL?

With my bugging I've gotten a person or two to join the DCL, but they haven't played any games

Anyone else know of random people who play rebirth/retro but don't know of anyone else playing?

don't feel like you have to get people to join DCL specifically. Some people would be a good fit for Rangers (more focus on anarchy and teams) and aren't really into 1v1. Some people would just do well to hang out on mumble and make friends.

That's a good point. I'll make sure I mention more than just the DCL. Just now I found two guys who have been playing since the game came out, and knew of neither the Rangers or the DCL. I gave them the info and they said they'll be around. Woo hoo stalking every game on all the trackers lol.
