So it's been a long time since I've updated the thread here. The installer has continued to be updated and now includes a lot of soundtracks as well as the ability to extract the game files from the GOG installers without running them.
Just figured I'd give this a bump so people know it's still around
I also have a question...I know this installer is mainly used by new people. At this point it's ALMOST an entirely 1-click experience. They have to download the two GOG installers, and then run mine. The problem is they still have to download and install Mumble.
I'm considering adding the option to download and run the Mumble installer after mine finishes, but I would need a reliable way to add the rangers server as the default. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on that?

Alright, it looks like it would take modifying an sqlite database...which is a bit out of scope for my installer.
I've added a pop-up at the end that says where to download mumble and what server settings to use though, so hopefully that's enough.
In the interest of making it easier for new people, I've also added an "automatically select the recommended components" pop-up at the beginning, so people don't have to know what they need before running the installer.

As Retro and Rebirth continue to develop features independently player file settings can no longer be remembered between both source ports. Because of this I've decided to split the two into separate installers. You can now download each one independently.
If you run the Retro installer you can point it at your old Rebirth installation directories to copy over the files.
With the switch, I've also done some bug fixing and a few feature changes, so as always, if you see a bug let me know and I'll fix it as soon as I can.
I've changed the link in this thread to the Retro installer. The Rebirth installer can still be downloaded from http://dxx-rebirth.com/
