What are some good D2 levels for 1v1?
Everyone knows a few good D2 levels for anarchy... Kegparty, Meatgrinder, stuff like that, but what are some good 1v1 levels? The last time I played a DCL in D2, Roncli and I had a difficult time deciding on the level to play. It seems to be the case every time I try to get a D2 game, and most of the time we just go to D1 because there's no clear choices except for the obvious Neptune, Nocturnal, Dissent2, and Puck.

Logic is a good one. White Rose isn't bad either if you like Black Rose.
Why oh why are you putting Puck in that list? ^_^

I like D2 Nysa, but you might want to double the primaries so there isn't just one Gauss. I'd prefer it with low ammo regardless, but YMMV.
Others...
D-Day '97: I've heard positive things said about it, but haven't tried it in 1v1 myself.
Judith: was OK.
Nocturnal: was good.
Pyromania: appropriate if you want a heavy gauss+mercs level.
Reason: definitely good (in D1 as well, although it gets played less these days).
Vamped: as good in D2 as anywhere else, although it does play differently there.
UES: if you're insane enough to try it, 1v1 shakers might actually be fun in this map.
Some of DH's recent levels are also listed as appropriately sized for 1v1; I don't know if they've been tried yet, but if you want to do blind matches they might be good places to start.
Argonia (low weapons, basically a plasma dogfight level): http://enspiar.com/dmdb/viewMission.php?id=1060
Inhaling Helium (Gauss 'n' Mercs): http://enspiar.com/dmdb/viewMission.php?id=1062
Year of the Horse (pretty standard all-around): http://enspiar.com/dmdb/viewMission.php?id=1065

All six Duellists levels are both excellent and underplayed, and each has a different flavor and celebrates D2's unique weapons. The sixth in particular is standout.

In all seriousness:
Minerva 69 Gauss Whore.....
Isn't that what D2 is all about? Mercs + Gauss?

You all FAILED this test.
What are some good (((D2))) levels was clearly a trick question.
The correct response should be D2blows...thus there are no 'good' levels.

D2 only blows because D1 sucks. Otherwise, the pressure would keep building up and it would no longer be able to blow.
