I've always sank deeply into walls in Lurk...

I still remember the kill Morfod got on me with that bug. Only slightly more BS than all his other kills.

It's a level design issue. Basically, the walls in question are overlapping cube edges, which Descent doesn't handle very well. The solution would be to redesign one or both of those two rooms so that instead of overlapping cube edges, you would join two cubes and add a wall. That should fix the issues.

Roncli, a better question is - why the hell can't Luke see it? What setting do I, Vaniac, and morf have on that allows us to see it but not him? I certainly don't have dynamic lighting on as I know that is forbidden plus I'm not the one hosting the games and that is set to off normally.

I'm as confused on that as he is. I could see it just fine in the demos.

It's a programmer joke - whatever it is, first attempt is to call it not a bug, but a feature ; ). Drakona knows this! Obviously though, if it's not the same for everybody that's something to fix if possible.

That's a bug, and not terribly easy to fix in Retro, I don't think. Better not to build levels that way.
How did we not know about this before now? We've been playing Lurk, as a core level even, for like 2.5 years now???

Okay, I'm going to have to go look for this. Shooting weapons through walls is one of my favorite things. (Just ask Naphtha)
Edit: Think I see it. Yeah, you could just pull the back wall in a couple units and it should be sorted. Even put it on a vertical slant if you're feeling super-fancy. A relatively easy fix without wrecking flow/movement. Less so if you try to fix it from the other side though.
