Why not?
Re: Why not?
I think people are being very fair. The favoritism continues to show that certain ones indulge, to the point of others players games completed as mentioned by another player. It’s a private ladder and is prided on fairness yet still is nowhere close to fair. If it was politics the ladder would be Trump. <—— LOL ban hammer inc!

moh, I admit that I don't fully understand what you are trying to say in your post.
If you could clarify that would be great. In addition to clarification, if you could provide potential solutions to the problems you identify that would be appreciated also.
thanks.

classy, ernie. Way to paint everyone who's posted a contrary opinion in this thread as someone who was talking shit. I wasn't, for the record.
I suspect the people who talk the most shit are the ones who would never choose to endure the scrutiny that comes with all the thankless labor of running the ladder.
So let's open the algo up for a week or a season. What are the arguments against what seems, superficially, like a relatively harmless exercise? I mean, i guess the one i can trhink of is there are going to be 1000 questions for tom/catherine and to a lesser extent other admins. Would this just be too much work for tom and catherine?

I get the feeling there are some unaddressed grievances behind something here... and you didn't get the answer you wanted, so you just sort of snipe to vent frustration.
Can I suggest talking to the admins and explaining why their answers don't satisfy you instead? It can even be in PMs if you want to avoid the public circus (which is totally understandable). Can't promise anything, but it will be equal to or better than the status quo... in other words it won't hurt

There is a cushion that exists to prevent an instant demote challenge followed by promote challenge. In the past you could be instantly demoted then instantly promoted in the same day with out warning. It is why the challenge system exists and the cushion.
I think perhaps if you fell below the 'promote' line but are still above the 'demote' line an emailed warning should go out to you.
That would at least give you a heads up to bring your A game or perhaps suffer the consequences of under-performing.
