Yeah guys, I agree with Lothar here that there simply is NO substitute for actually playing the map. That's why I've kinda changed my stance and instead of rotating in core maps, just have a spotlight of new or overlooked maps (or both!), and present them as a secondary choice for pilots who can't decide where to eat.

There's a lot of passion in this thread and I don't feel there *should* be because even if the core level selection remains and spotlights aren't implemented, this ladder is still one awesome place to play. But rest assured, Lothar Drak and Jedi DO listen.

I say keep june bug, not only is it a great map for random pick, but you can always fake your opponent out, come from behind with one little burst of plasma(and/or), retreat; repeat.
