As far as x4..>Drakona is right...there are only a few levels where 'x4' is the true meta of what we are talking about. Ascend & Wrath are the most notable ones. Secondarily, Logic x4 and Mindtrix x4 are good...but a tad bit slower.

X4 requires you to have incredible dodging skills....super speed and maneuverability along with 'set up' tactics...all on the fly at 1,000 mph!

When you 'get it'....when you 'really get it'...it becomes very enjoyable. Even Drakona said in our first x4 game...and I quote "This is ridiculous!" That was before she 'got it'.

It seems hard to get people to the point of understanding x4 and being good at it before they quickly decide it sucks.

A skill that carries over from x4 games...plenty of you guys have seen me dodge and survive smarts in the reactor area of Logic that most people would not....I do this.....easily. Because 1 or 2 smarts...bleh. That's old hat. I'm so well practiced on dodging 5 smarts plus floaters that dodging regular amounts of smarts in other levels becomes ....well....easy.

So I read Drakona's X4 thesis and all the while was thinking "yep, this sounds like being a D2 pilot".

haha jeds, I wish! (if everyone's attitude was as good as mine there hardly ever be any fights. Unless the mormons invaded. Then my accidental R-rated moments and laissez faire attitude towards homuhseczualitee might cause a civil war.)
