Its something like +90% dominance vs. gold and I want to say an average of 17-20 vs. diamond (correct me if I'm wrong).

(From previous forum discussions:)
The Diamond Promotion Challenge looks like this:
A vendetta (3 matches randomly selected) will be played vs each member of Diamond (currently 2)
The pilot must average a score of 17 in each of his vendettas (currently 6 matches total) in order to remain at 0 and qualify for promotion to Diamond.
To get offered a Diamond Promotion Challenge:
Probably best to worry about the dominance factor first, since it is public and easily calculated, and getting that up over 85% (90+% is the goal) is very hard to do. Getting the skill rating (24+ is the goal) is almost certainly easier, and very, very likely to have already happened by the time you pass the dominance threshold.
That said, if you want targets, I would shoot for: diamond 18-20, gold 20-15, silver 20-9, bronze 20-4, against the toughest pilots in each class.
So, both a 24 or higher skill rating and a GOLD Dominance factor of 90 or higher is required to get offered the Diamond Challenge.

For example current Diamond Pilots:
Mark392: GOLD Dominance 97%
SKILL RATING: Over 24
Jediluke: GOLD Dominance 96.5%
SKILL RATING: Over 24
Where Bahamut currently stands:
Bahamut: GOLD Dominance 66.5%
SKILL RATING: Under 24
Bahamut is much closer to attaining the skill rating needed than he is the GOLD dominance factor.
Work on the gold dominance factor and surely the skill rating will get where it needs to go.

A couple of comparisons using (me) the low hanging fruit of Diamond.
To get your skill rating and dominance factors closer to Diamond attempt to get scores more similar to the following:
Using ZERO, a very dangerous GOLD pilot and the next closest skill rated pilot just below Bahamut, as the common opponent:
Bahamut vs ZERO (20-18 expected score based on Bahamut’s current GOLD skill rating)
Jediluke vs ZERO (20-16 expected score based on Jedi’s current DIAMOND skill rating)
Our expected score vs ZERO is only a 2 point difference implying that our skill ratings aren’t all that far apart but despite this the performance based on those skill ratings are further apart which results in moving both pilots in opposing directions as far as skill ratings and dominance factors are concerned.
BAHAMUT:
8 Matches this season vs ZERO
Win / Loss Record = 5 – 3 62% win ratio
# of Matches in which Bahamut scored ABOVE / BELOW / AT expectation of (18)
ABOVE EXPECTATION 3
BELOW EXPECTATION 4
AT EXPECTATION 1
Result: Both Skill Rating and Dominance numbers going down.
JEDILUKE:
15 Matches this season vs ZERO
Win / Loss Record = 15 – 0 100% win ratio
# of Matches in which Jediluke scored ABOVE / BELOW / AT expectation of (16)
ABOVE EXPECTATION 10
BELOW EXPECTATION 2
AT EXPECTATION 3
Result: Both Skill Rating and Dominance numbers going up.
If Bahamut had to meet the Diamond expectation for score using Jediluke’s 20-16 expectation his results would look like this:
ABOVE EXPECTATION 1
BELOW EXPECTATION 6
AT EXPECTATION 1
Result: Both Skill Rating and Dominance numbers going down more significantly
Now, take this with a grain of salt. This is one comparison vs one pilot and of course matchups are always unique.
Bahamut occasionally gets a win vs Diamond (vs Mark lifetime: 14 - 78 for a 15% win ratio and vs Jediluke 16 – 113 for a 12% win ratio)
Beating Diamond pilots occasionally is further proof he is a dangerous GOLD pilot.
THE Top GOLD pilot? No, but close.
A Diamond pilot? No, not as close as he’d like but he stands a decent chance if he improves just a bit and shows more consistency.
Top 3 GOLD pilots that could threaten making Diamond imo are: Souljah, Bahamut & Cyrus
Souljah just needs to play more. Bahamut needs more dominant performances and more consistency. Cyrus, well he needs to be WIRED and also needs to learn how to be very effective with weapons not named Vulcan.
