Get at least a few matches a week. You don't want your skill to dwindle

Alternate strategy:don't play for several months, then come back and be mad when you suck. It's a personal favorite of mine.

A true Descent champion would install D1 on the school network drives, and play in class or in the library (possibly with other students via LAN).
