You only want what you don't have ....cuz u don't have it. Once you get it.....u'll lie to yourself and say that you love having it....but u'll soon realize, despite perhaps not admitting it, that the secret sauce should have remained secret.

I think it will create a crap ton of questions (that of which only Tom and Catherine can answer) I hope they both have all the time in the world to field those questions....cuz giving everyone access to it without being able to explain it to everyone as the questions come up could make things worse.

I think people will compete for skill rating and it does NOT work like that. It isn't designed for that. The potential side effects are people avoiding levels/opponents they aren't proficient in/against. This could potentially get ppl to stick to core only.

The right decision was made to keep it from the public imo. I know this because I've experienced it. I think that everyone else would come to the same conclusion if they had access to it as well.

I think a monthly report card would be a great compromise and could add some fun to the mix as previously mentioned by Birdseye.

Drakona and Lothar, could you point me to where I can see the code and/or some sort of documentation of the algorithm in full detail? Even just the code would be fine. I'm genuinely interested.
