lol, I'd expect immediate reinstatement if I were you. I'm not a person to delight in the failings of the ladder (or the out of game failures of any person) so I hope no one takes this personally but clearly something is broken. I think the ladder has gotten the vast majority of the promotions/demotions right but Vainiac is a bonafide yellow-text pilot. He shouldnt be anywhere near the demote line. LOL can you imagine him in silver? dark horses as far as the eye can see!

Nah dude he's totally yellow text and its not because of his skill rating. Its because he was meant to play Sirius in his last failed gold promotion challenge but they never got it on, until now. This is the first time they have played since and therefore, despite his +7 he finished his first failed promotion challenge below the 0 target. So the ladder thinks he failed the promotion to silver challenge also assuming that he was already silver in order to take it. Its a bug with unfinished promotion challenges I believe, I've seen games added to one of Ernie's failed gold promotion challenges that happened months and months after the promotion challenge ended (as there were still games left to play against the opponents he had subsequently fought months and months later).

I hit the manual demote button.

Ok so after a full 7 minutes with my jaw sadly on the ground and my mind completely blown, frantically typing WTF to Lee on Discord in all caps I went to the forum and read this. Yeah, I wasn't done perching at top silver for my free camping week of selfies and screenshots, (xmas cards and all, you know) before it got lurched from my hands. What a relief to know I can continue my unearned title a day longer. Hurry up Drakona I've got people coming over later.
