Swarthy has the lethal vulcan zipper, Vainiac has the close quarters smart missile changeup, Drak has wall o' quads, morf has the should-have-watched-my-6 assassination, Birds is the fusion master, Jeds has the long range smart *Doink*, cyrus begins every conflict by going backwards, etc. But what is MY move, people? I'm good at several things but I figured I would let the masses decide. I want something simple, but with some panache. Something that lets the people know that melvin is here.

how did you manage to completely miss "dropping a crapton of proxies just before an opponent shows up, immediately dodging into them for the suicide, and then spawning on top of even more proxies"? That's signature melvin for sure.

How about the I'm in the perfect position to ambush you but manage to miss with every weapon only to catch a smart right in the face 2 seconds later?

I don't know how you get more panache than the self-proxy-dodge and self-proxy-respawn. Nobody can pull that move like melvin pulls that move.

Also, you could have a slogan, or entrance phrase. You know, something that lets people know, "Melvin is here!" Like, at the beginning of every game starting out saying, "Melvin is here!" I'd remember that.

Or, after every kill you could say something like, "I got 99 problems but your ship ain't one." Or, maybe something after you die like, "The sun was in my eyes..." or, "The wind pushed that one out...", "There is no wind, we're in a dome... It's an enclosed environment."

That all seems pretty panache-E. Of course, I didn't look up what, "panache" means, so I may be interpreting what you want incorrectly here...
