ALT+F7 does not apply to the Observatory interface, that's more for cockpit weapons view. However, I might add something when you're following a ship.

For the sidetrack discussion, Windows 10 Update 1804 seems to have resolved the skips for pretty much everyone so far. If you're getting skips at this point, it's probably not Windows, and you should let me know about them outside of this thread.

For the main discussion, melvin came up with an idea to use the actual font as the health bar... just start turning letters into outlines as players are taking damage. While this is not possible in the game engine without a significant change into how fonts are rendered, this *IS* the type of idea I'm looking for! I'm not the best UI guy, so I want to get as much input as possible before I start working on it.
