In addition to adding CTF Classic to 1.4X8, I'm pleased to announce that we'll be adding a brand new game mode: Descent Battle Royal!

Join dozens of your Descent friends on the largest custom made map you've ever seen, and duke it out until you're the last one standing!

Currently planned features:
[*] Find weapons randomly hidden around the level!
[*] Each weapon has different stats including damage, fire rate, accuracy, and ammo
[*] Join solo or play as a team of up to 4 people!
[*] Self-destruct sequences will trigger every so often, restricting the play field further and further!
[*] Balanced ranked play!

This is going to be the pinnacle of Descent, guys. I predict that all other game modes will just stop being played once this is implemented, it's so amazing.

I would actually play a last-man-standing mode, though. Giant map, just a few weapons, last one alive wins the round. Rest of it is pretty optional.

But I don't know how easily it'd work in Descent. It's not really designed for no-respawn.

Descent 3 had "Elimination". Didn't take off, but then again few mods did.

In all honesty This is something that would be Significantly awesome

I know that there is Weapon modding. Fellow rangers/Dcl Partakers have experimented with modding it, Of course you already know this, i figure it wouldn't hurt to remind.
