I wouldn’t be so difinitive about Code not trying to understand and just wanting to forget and move on—I’d say he, “doesn’t always” is much more appropriate. I have a very different experience with him than what I’m hearing from this post that you have, Birdseye, which I am grateful for! In this experience he listened and changed based off of the information gleaned from the dialogue between the two of us. That’s the basis of my earlier comment that I, “have no problem” with him

So, I fully agree with your earlier sentiment in believing in him and he can do it!

i'll say that i may have not expressed myself properly.
it was like i took 5 different thoughts and kinda just ran with the keys.
i used other pilots as a reference in a couple cases to explain a level of civility that i should maintain in respect.

i think i mean to say i never been pushed to TELL OFF ,the pilots with a, "better" character even in a good heart to heart dispute.
it makes me feel bad so i try not to go there. i can be a jerk but so can many. im not a jerk for no reason it takes a lot to push me usually.

the thing is code is a good pilot. he doesn't think he is better than he is. he doesn't gloat for the annoyance of others.
when he fist started getting good, we noticed.
he does have a competitive attitude, that's fine.
he says "man this is frikkin crap" and says "sorry"
after the game he explained once that everyone has a problem with him because he is a jerk in game, which i said isn't even true.
not no even say sorry because i dont feel offended by that and if other pilots do, then just keep quiet and prove yur pilot skills,.
it came to be more about how he talks and then noticing i cant be the same ol me around him for the fact saying "shute" it a bad word
I just think playing or being around some players like myself isn't the best environment for him considering his age and/or upbringing.

I used to find Code to be extremely annoying. I had a good person to person talk with him....non Descent related....just a get to know who the hell you are kinda chit chat about life and stuff....now he's not extremely annoying. He's just regular 14yo annoying now. That's an improvement.

Seriously, I felt much better about Code after having discussed real life things.....but it took me initiating that conversation and being open to it.

I wanted to provide an update that I did get to have a good conversation with Code where Code listened to all my concerns, apologized, and acted quite maturely. Props to Code for growth, keep it up man. GL on the promo
