Calling out a pilot with a bad attitude!

Guys, there has been a pilot that has displayed a bad attitude in several games as of late and it's time to call him out on it. There is no excuse for poor sportsmanship regardless of your skill level or rank! If this pilot has thus far been unable to clean up his act on his own then it's time to publicly chastise him before all the other members of this ladder.

The pilot that is a poor sport as of late is....me. I call myself out in hopes that you guys will help hold me to a higher standard and not allow me to get away with bitching and moaning about connection issues (or more likely 'net code' issues).

I apologize to those of you that had to endure a game with my poor attitude on display. I am not proud of it in any way. I'm also not so unrealistic as to assume that I will be flawless going forward simply because I've announced that I have a 'complaining problem'. I could explain why I believe I turn in to the hulk ("You wouldn't like me when I'm angry") in some games and many of you would likely be capable of understanding or relating but it would likely come across as an excuse and I don't have a good one.

So I'll simply say that I'm sorry and that I will try to have an attitude more like the other elite pilots that exemplify the kind of pilot/person I would like to be when I grow up... pilots like Djcjr, DKH and Mark392 all of which have witnessed Jedihulk first hand.

I've embarrassed myself and I am sorry.

Congrats Jedi! The first step to fix any problem that you have is recognizing that you have.

I have heard a lot of pilots several times complaining about lag during matches and in almost 100% of the matches i lost it because that frustated me. That kind of frustation almost made me decide to stop competing. The reason that I didnt stop was because some others pilots/persons with awesome attitudes convinced me to change my mind.

Anyway congratulations on your attitude, thats a huge example of personal growth.

I am no saint in this area either. But I respect Jeds for openly apologizing for the attitude.

I can also understand when a game is very close and things aren't always going our way that our competitive nature can cause us to say things we wouldn't normally say.

Anyhow... I apologize as well if I have said anything that has undermined a great win for my opponent or made a loss feel even worse.

I wish that we all can enjoy everyone's amazing piloting in their own ways and be happy for them win or loose. Thanks for bringing this up Jeds, your my friend and I will always enjoy our matches! Sometimes I can use the "bitching" for my own good (knowing that I'm frustrating you in battle! haha :P) Cheers! Looking forward to our next dual --DKH

Cheers Jedi, nice thread :). Something we can all relate to, and learn from, there is no doubt!

Sorry I haven't noticed this post until now. Jedi, I am simply honored by your comment and you garner immense amounts of respect simply for this post, sir! With that said, no matter what ever happens in a game (we are all competitive humans) you have, and will always have, my respect and friendship! I am ever so grateful to be able to come back to a community of friends as classy as the ones I have returned to find!
Sincerely,

Cameron Little
