It's that time again: Props.
As you look back over the season, what stands out in your mind as cool? What did other pilots do that was just . . . extra awesome? This award can be given for almost anything. Great attitude, a cool stat, a great rivalry, a great home level, even an incredible match. Try to keep them for "above and beyond" kinda stuff, but beyond that, anything goes.
Anyone who played matches can nominate anyone ELSE for one of these. It needs a second to pass. If you're getting one and you feel it's lame, you can refuse it. If the admins think one is lame, they also might veto it (but I'm sure we're not going to need to do that . . . ).
They come with a title and description, and are displayed on your profile for the season. See DKH's award for the original.

I nominate Sirius for: c-c-c-c-combo breaker!
Of the top 10 silver streaks on the ladder, Sirius broke 4 of them, including Jediluke's 30-game streak.
http://descentchampions.org/hall_of_fame.php?season=3I nominate The@$$man! for: by the horns!
He came on the ladder, got rated, decided he wanted the top bronze spot, and challenged for and took it... all in under a week. He grabbed the ladder by the horns and took it where he wanted it to go.
I nominate sdfgeoff and PPski for: going 22 rounds!
Don't let the records fool you into thinking this was a one-sided rivalry. These guys played 22 matches, and 9 of them were 20-17 or closer.

I'm not really sure what to call any award for it, but I noticed something interesting from roncli's profile: 11 days. 11 unique pilots. 10 unique levels (not counting observatory versions). And that's out of 15 games in the season.
Apparently he likes variety.

Omnivore: on his first 11 days on DCL, roncli played 11 total pilots including pilots from all three tiers, 10 unique levels, and a game of D2.

I like it. If that's a nomination I'll second

I would like to nominate myself for being the biggest @$$! But really I'm for Roncli. He doesn't turn down a match and it shows from the randomness from the match history. Well, my job here is done.

Seconded
Still needs a second:

Don't forget cool stuff that happened in the early part of the season, too! Look back over the early season records to jog your memory!
A couple from me:
I nominate Obsoleet for
Extreme Prejudice: Obsoleet has made a habit of holding other pilots to truly embarrassing scores. He held Drakona, Xciter, Merl, and melvin all to THREE kills out of 20, and many pilots expecting a win or a strong showing against him found themselves left with surprisingly single digits. Truly a dangerous pilot to face.
I nominate Xciter for
True Competitor: Returning pilots are often intimidated by the intensity of DCL's competition, especially if they can tell they won't be able to dominate the way they had in previous eras. Some leave, some suffer through it, but Xciter handled the transition in extraordinary style. He showed up, found the toughest pilots he could, played hard, trained hard, and handled brutal losses with grace and class. He is a true competitor.

Ah, forgot one!
I nominate Lotharbot for
Non-Orientable: Lotharbot continues to build on his impressive body count in his disorienting home levels, going undefeated against Drakona in two games of Octave Pro this season.
