Hello everyone,

My name is Lady Silver. I recently returned to the Descent scene and I think this ladder looks like fun. Dues asked me to join a few weeks ago, and Lothar gave me a link to check it out the other day on the DBB. So here I am.

I first started playing D3 around a decade or more ago (introduced to the game by my brother, Sergeant Thorne), and I have played it off and on since then. I have joined the DCL mainly to play D3, but I understand that I may be challenged to play some D1 or D2 as well. I will do my best.
It has been many years since I've been on a ladder. The first and only Descent ladder I was ever on was on Planet Descent, quite a long time ago... So I am looking forward to this.

Anyone feel up to a D3 game?

Welcome to the DCL. Keeo in mind that d1 is required and thus the most heavily played version. D1 isn't the prettiest but it is the most balanced game! Have fun!

Ok, so D1 is mostly what is played here. I have all three Descent games installed on my comp so I should be all set.

Who here likes to play D3?

D3 is great for CTF, but not really popular for 1v1.

Behemoth and Rethink both play it, though.

Welcome to the DCL! I'll admit I rarely ever play D3, but if you ever want a D2 match, I'm your guy.

Dues obviously. Plus IsAB, and myself are active D3 pilots.

The biggest challenge with D3 is getting a server since Peer to Peer in D3 is so bad I wouldn't even try to play it.

Ouch. If that's the case, it's going to be even harder to get a fair server.
