Hey folks! I know a bunch of us at the LAN tried out that 1.4X3A version with the demos, and noticed a lot of them did not playback, and those that did playback had errors such as bad textures, missing pilot names, etc.

Fortunately, I have figured out why the demos have issues and have the ability to fix them! So if you were affected, feel free to send me an email at roncli@roncli.com and I will fix them up for you.

Sweet, gonna take you up on this. I have basically no demos from the LAN that weren't 1.4X3A.
What was the issue, anyway?

Jeds had asked me to create a version of the game that would automatically record demos to faciliate there being many demos from the LAN. Because we all like LAN demos. Seemed pretty easy to me, so I took an hour doing it, tested it, it seemed pretty good?

Turns out the "auto" part was our downfall. I started the demos recording before the game got fully initialized. Oops.

I guess this is why we test things more before releasing them.

Roncli knows what's going on more than I do, at this point.

SO.....when will we get an updated version of 1.4a?
