I actually want to play Descent? I'll do singleplayer before I hop on Mumble.

I don't know what it is. I had the time of my life at the Denver LAN, but I have barely touched multiplayer since then.

I mean its just this simple...

A lot of folks seem to do that. They're hyped about playing at a LAN, they never show up online. It's perfectly normal. You'll get the bug again.

It's odd because of my few opponents since the LAN, you're one of them.

I have on and off periods. I've only played a single match in the past month or two, but I don't doubt I'll get back into it.

I'd say: don't try to force yourself to play Descent. You just won't enjoy it. Give it a break for a week or five, and get back into it when you want to.

I take weeklong breaks sometimes and play other things. And then someone pulls me into a D1 game and I'm like "o rite I love this".

I've been absent this week because I started marathoning some other game Sunday. And didn't finish until Wednesday, and nearly doubled the top score. ^_^

Yeah, I have this too. I'm thinking I'll just set a night and say "okay, I'll be playing some 1v1 on Friday nights... anyone want some, come on over".

It happens to all of us. I see people I used to be competitive against getting better, people I used to beat improving, and remember how much I enjoy it. Then I sit down and do something other than Descent. Not sure why.
