Descent Underground: ladderable
Posted: Sat Oct 03, 2015 5:24 amJust curious to see if people have thought about Descent Underground being integrated into the ladder. Obviously it would be a different 'game' in the way of D1 D2 and D3.....

Posted: Sat Oct 03, 2015 8:14 amMy vote is that D:U shouldn't even be considered until it's full release. I have a big disdain for early access, and I can imagine that there will be patches for netcode and tweaks and the like.

Posted: Sat Oct 03, 2015 7:53 pmFirstly, in its current state, it is not good for 1v1. And secondly, it changes and will change a lot - I'm not sure you want to run a skill-rated ladder against a moving target.
Admittedly, we already have that problem with D2 and D3 - they have great potential to confuse the ladder when pilots are markedly better in one game than another, which is pretty common.
