I sent my Pyro_GX into the shop today and had a new MS Sidewinder Precision Pro installed.
Seems to have to be done every few months; These hat switches just don't hold up under the abuse of tricording.
Took it for a test flight and ohmygosh is it sweeeeet!

My stick was also "new", from Ebay. It was a gamble, but, as Thorne has said, stick users who play games other than Descent don't use the hat nearly as much as we do. So it's like, "This stick was used, huh? That's adorable."
