Let me point out 2 things:

When you asked me for a game the other night, I answered you vocally saying I would play. Then you left the channel only 15 - 20 seconds after asking, and I realized you had deafened mumble, and therefore hadn't heard my response.

Then when you jumped into the channel Jedi and I were in, Jedi said hello to you, also not realizing you were deaf until I pointed it out to him.

Just wanted to let you know that maybe you aren't always being ignored; it might just be that, as in my case, I wasn't observant enough to see you couldn't hear me in time before you left the channel.

I tried to play a match seven times this evening.

Two were acceptable for match quality.
Three were playable for fun, but with spikes of 120-300 ms.
Two were cancelled within 60 seconds of starting because the connection was just garbage.

I was almost about to pitch a fit because all I wanted was a couple matches, and I have to wait for my connection to clear.
I even stayed up late so that everyone else would go to bed and the no one was using Netflix. Still getting crap, likely from automatic updates.
It distresses me. I want to retire so at least I would give up trying. I get 10 kills into a match and my connection blows up because someone wants to watch cat videos on youtube.

Or leaves a stream open on the TV when they go downstairs to work out.

Yeah sorry man, I often see you pop in on mumble whilst me and caniplay are in the midst of a one hundred/two-hundred game series. I'd like to play you but, often by the time I realise you have been online you're gone. Message me on here, private or send direct messages for games on mumble if you see me regardless whether I'm in a game or not, so you can have the next dance

you traditionally have a lot of success with popping into the away idle channel at midnight and saying yo then popping out?

I do not always go to the away and idle room when I step away.
I do, however, scroll up and read to see if someone opted in while I was away. I have seen you ask for a DCL while I was away only to see that you have since disconnected.
This doesn't mean you are being dodged. If you do feel dodged there is always the option to use the challenge button.
