Let's make this the place to discuss levels!
New Levels
Updated Levels
Favorites
Hidden Gems
etc...
For starters, I have updated my recent release, "Fable." Get the update here:
http://www.enspiar.com/dmdb/viewMission.php?id=1302Also I changed one of my old levels, "Eclipse" (resulting in some regret that I didn't save an old copy). Birdseye... if you still have the old copy, I could use it
Finally, I will be releasing, "Logic2" either tonight if all goes well... or sometime next week.
Cheers!

Think I might be in love with Logic2, super fun 3way at the very least.
Have been playing some lesser known D1 levels that lee ported over from some oooooold school d2 levels and one in particular is pretty badass:

Thanks for the old files of Eclipse, they are back on the dmdb. Also, I fixed Lurk (cannot see or shoot through wall anymore).
Here is the updated Lurk:

Theres nothing special about converting a level. Whats special is taking a standard cube and turning it into an awesome arena for people to spend countless hours fighting in. This is exactly why I didn't want people to know that I had converted levels. They are not mine. If anything, they serve as a stop gap in case the original author decides to make their own version. I just like playing them and thought some other people might like playing them too.
That aside...I'd like to focus on some of the lesser known maps out there. Once I find my list...

I agree with less missiles, since the idea of Xs was to simulate the weapon replication that d1 had, we've had so many missile heavy games but we usually don't have many primary heavy games, i don't have a problem with it since i can adapt but it gets boring after a while that so many people think missile tossing is the only attribute that makes a good pilot nowadays.
Thats not to say that i find missile tossing a bad trait, it makes it interesting as long as its balanced, imo.

Guys, there is no need to have 'less missiles' to begin with...as you have referenced adding missiles is what X's is for....well lowering a missile count is what mcap 2 and mcap 6 is for.
So...an author should put in the amount of missiles they feel matches their idea of how the level should play at default settings/original intentions.
Hosts of a game can choose to ADD more missiles....remove missiles completely or cap it at 6 or 2.
maybe additional mcap options would be appropriate? mcap 4 etc
