Anyway i think you get the point.
There has been too much doom and gloom on this forum, and in attempt to bring balance i present you - the happy thread. Mention something happy or positive!
1. A 7.5m blue cable! It may be a slight trip hazard in our apartment but its effective. Previously my ping deviation on wifi was often triple digits, now it’s a single digit. It probably didn’t help that from my place I am currently in range of literally (not figuratively) 35 wireless networks. Loss is now a thing of the past, if only I could somehow eradicate future DCL losses…
2. I was recently presented my trophy for the table tennis tournament I won at my workplace. Technically I now hold titles in both Toyota technical centers in Australia and USA. If there’s a table tennis table at the next lan – come get some!
3. A new old game has just been announced – Starcraft remastered! Advertising identical gameplay to the original, with enhanced graphics (true wide screen at 1080p) and improved interface including a proper match making system. Whilst DU and Overload are somewhat interesting, a Descent Remastered is the only new title that would really work for me.
4. In 2000 a 12year old Aussie locked horns (at probably 300ms) with a 9year (im approximating) old kid from Pennsylvania, I believe the score line was something like 20-5 my favour. Little did I know that 17 years later, that little punk would show up at my door step (now in Michigan), eat my wifes cooking and then proceed to kick my ass in that very same game. Thats pretty amazing! Unfortunately we forgot a photo...
