I would like to see CHALLENGES that have been issued by pilots on the front page of the DCL for all to see.

This will raise awareness and give us all a little something to watch out for.

Also, after the match is played it should stay on the front page for a bit with the results of the challenge.

Yeah definitely. They're almost impossible to find unless you actively go looking for them and knowing that a big game is coming up would likely generate interest in the game/ladder. Maybe in the same way you have a promo challenge bar you could have an active official challenge bar (visible only when there are active challenges or maybe for a short time after like Jedi suggested). Heres a real basic example of the front page (ignore the awful spacing):

What happens when the challenge is Expired? Nothing? That would be lame. A rank drop would be better and a mark on their record showing that it wasn't completed. Challenges Completed 4 Expired 1 Withdrew 100 .. Something so we don't have to manually count them. Some people have alot of challenges on their page.

Admins have a message at the top of their screen showing when a challenge hasn't been completed after 2 weeks. We'll rank-drop people for missing a challenge if the challenging pilot asks for it. This usually only happens when it's a challenge for a top spot. Most of the time, we'll send a message asking and they're like "nah, it's cool, he got busy, no big deal" or people will withdraw the challenge early.

Does anyone here disagree with making official challenges more visible on the website? Either way, speak up if you have something to contribute.

Nope make them as visible as possible. Some sort of newsfeed would work. Maybe announcing things like dark horses, bus drivers, etc in the same location would be nice too.

I always wanted a scrolling ticker of 'news' on the main page

I would like to see that kind of info in one place, so you don't have to go digging for it.
