Good catch! I sent a note to deimos to see if he intended to complete it, and it sounds like no . . . so I took it down by hand.

Honestly, it never occurred to me that anyone would accept a challenge and then retire in the middle of it. So the ladder was just like, "Which way did he go, george???"

I have no idea what a sensible policy for that would even be. I guess retiring should close the challenge? Never thought about it!

Yeah, if they retire, they're obviously not interested in winning their promotion.
