I noticed something about the promotion/demotion challenges that made me a little curious. Morf played me, Lady Silver and Vaniac. For Lady Silver and Vaniac in their promotion challenges the goal against him was 12. For me in my demotion challenge it was 10. Is that generally the rule that demotion challenges have lower goals?

Demotion challenge goals are lower, yes. A little more margin for error.

The skill rating threshold for triggering one is lower, too. Which is why you're sometimes expected to beat someone to make it in.
