Re: Diablo vs Ernie
bahamut, I'm frankly surprised that out of nowhere you are attacking me and pained that I wasn't permanently banned from the DCL that I founded because I told you to f off and die? It's also convenient how you left out every shitty curse riddled thing you've said to me. Don't act like you were the innocent child and I was the mean bully that was verbally abusive to you. You were indeed a little shit who was very disrespectful to me and I certainly responded in kind.
This was a long time ago however....and we had both seemingly moved past this. So, what is the point in you attacking me now? I'm even retired. What is your actual problem with me?...cuz all you are bringing up is old stuff that was seemingly resolved.
If you have an issue with me, man up and come talk to me.
Also, there is no 'match dodging' because of the challenge system. No one can avoid you or ignore you because you can officially challenge them.
If someone quits on you during a game it's your job to bring it to someone's attention. I recollect bahamut doing just that regarding mark392. The end result of that was mark being required to finish that match from the dominant lead score that bahamut had developed. Bahamut lost that match ultimately but it got finished.
There has NEVER been a time where someone bailed on a game and the other pilot came to admin with their issue that did not get resolved by either the 2 players deciding to call it off or it being finished from the score they left off at or them both deciding to restart at 0.
It is interesting that all of a sudden there are these 'issues' and like Lothar pointed out....no specific incidents are cited. Just some general vague mysterious 'others'.

"I am the most SKILLED PILOT on this ladder, (leaving very soon due to life threatening health issues.) and you can't have the demos for being so condescending toward a 20 year old, who has more honor than to tell a fellow pilot to go and die." - Bahamut
I would like to address a couple of points made in this quote.
1: I am the most SKILLED PILOT on this ladder.
One would think that "the most SKILLED PILOT on this ladder" would also have the best win/loss record and be in the Diamond tier. Oh wait, I see someone that fits that exact description now....and he's ranked #1. Oddly....it isn't bahamut. So I'm going to disagree with your self evaluation. It's presumptuous of you to make such a bold statement and frankly disrespectful to the pilots who are actually better than you....and there is more than one pilot that's better than you.
2: (leaving very soon due to life threatening health issues) - 'who has more honor than to tell a fellow pilot to go and die'
I get the sense that you think this Jedi actually has powers and that by telling you to f off and die has caused you to actually develop some life threatening health issues. Just in case that is somehow true....I will now say "You will be just fine, you will NOT die."
This is just a game. One I have personally taken way too seriously over the years. What matters is your health, take care of yourself....I believe you will be just fine.

The ladder is cool and all, but doesn't necessarily reflect the skill level of the people on it. Saying that the person who is number one on the ladder is the best player, is a tad presumptuous in my opinion. Not that the sentiment is unfounded, just that's saying alot.
Either way, let's spread the love guys and try not to take everything so seriously.

I agree, the #1 pilot is not always the best. But it is right now.... That's not presumptuous.
