A lot of people have asked me about Mark392 being dropped to silver. I looked into it, and found a math bug (and a design flaw or two) in the rating algorithm. Since fixed.

He's back to gold now.

Since the rating was a bug in the first place, I have retroactively adjusted the three matches he played as a silver pilot to gold, and updated the associated records, streaks, and (in DKH's case) medals. Those never should have happened that way. Sorry about that.

The rules do say you aren't supposed to complain about ratings, but . . . when something is that obviously wrong? You all did the right thing by complaining. Thanks.

Yeah, it got so bad that I had to make myself a Mumble Channel called "Mark Isnt Silver Its A Bug" while I was fixing it. So people would stop complaining for long enough for me to fix it.

Pretty sure MD got hit by the same bug, by the way.
