Qualifying for a Rating
Posted: Thu Jan 02, 2014 2:53 pmWe've noticed that the ratings aren't always very stable when you first get them. Some people join the ladder as bronze and very quickly go silver, or as gold and quickly go silver. On top of that, there's a lot of confusion about what it takes to receive a rating!
We're revising the rules to solve both of those problems -- to make it simpler and more stable.
Going forward, to be rated, you need to play at least 5 matches and against at least 3 different opponents.
This doesn't affect anyone who is already rated, even if you don't meet that requirement. It applies to pilots who are currently unrated.
