no anger

It was decided before the LAN that I would retire after it was over. I had hoped to retire #1 and winner of the Tournament but I felt compelled to give SoulJah his shot. Kudos to him for taking #1 in stunning fashion and then allowing me the opportunity to take it back.

LoNi_ wanted ascend x4 and that did not go well for him...I thought that would be my last match and I went out on top :) But...since his score was not very good at all he wanted a rematch in the same level and again I felt compelled to give him that opportunity. Kudos to LoNi_ for figuring out how to beat me in that level. You are a hell of a player and you continue to prove it on LAN.

I had a good run, and I will likely return at some point in the future.

I will more than likely still be available for some for fun games while learning a new config....forgive me if I'm not very competitive at first as it will take a while to get the hang of it.

Time to suck. :)

Enjoy the ladder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had a great LAN and a pretty darn good run this season on the ladder. Thanks for all who was a part of it.

Like a boss.

I know you wanted to retire after the tourney, and who wouldn't, and stuck around solely to give people shots at you. Especially the Ascend x4 thing with LoNi? Total class. I think you knew what was coming and wanted to see if it would really happen. I'd ten times rather play someone with that sort of steel and conviction than someone who was better at keeping his mouth shut. May we all be such competitors.

Catch you on the flip side. :)

See ya around Jedi, thanks for all the practice this season :) Pretty sure it helped at the LAN - thinking less of the numbers than hanging in the game long enough (read: not getting insta-owned by homing missiles at every opportunity... learn from Athena/Logic experience!) to figure out and execute a game plan. It doesn't always work but it's a lot more satisfying than just reacting to everything until the game is over!

I'll probably still be around a fair bit if you need to practice with the new config too, though I might have to shift a little time towards fixing up DLE (DKH reminded me of a few things that need improvements...) and actually making the levels I told people I was going to make

Legendary reign, Jedi. You've got a couple peers in the game but nobody puts as much in as you. Congrats on the stunning season and the tournament dominance.

Ok, so this was a failed experiment. I was going to retire to learn the new config...but OMG...was that frustrating...and boring. I know I didn't give it much chance...but screw that. I'll learn the new config little by little as I go....should be less boring.

Drakona...ban me from making retirement speeches.
