Do we need to host another DCL town hall meeting?

Behemoth, I know at least one subject you would like to discuss....fusion shake...but that is more a Retro feature request imo. What else would you like to talk about requiring the attention of the DCL staff and it's members in a live chat setting?
Birdseye, no offense intended (seriously), but this poll is regarding a town hall for the DCL that of which you have yet to join. Either join so that your vote my stay (which would be preferable) or kindly remove your vote. Thanks Oh, and IF you join the ladder then please post the subject(s) you would like to discuss.

I don't mind someone who isn't on the ladder asking for a town hall meeting, if they have specific concerns that are keeping them off of the ladder.
But a town hall meeting is, generally speaking, something we do when there are broad-based concerns. For example, our last town hall was because a lot of people were confused, concerned, or just curious about the rating algorithm and the promotion/demotion system. If it's just one or two people, we can address issues individually in mumble/discord/facebook/forum threads/PM's. Getting everyone together for a town hall meeting is a hassle, so I'd prefer to only do it if there's a broad enough set of concerns/confusion/curiosity.

Okay, i'm going to change to no, i'm going to discuss my thoughts with a smaller group. I thought the council meeting meant a meeting with the admins and a few other people involved. My mistake.

Lothar, you eventually got to where I wanted you to go....the town hall meetings are for broad-based concerns. I doubt a large number of non DCL pilots would want to hold a town hall meeting...they have no reason.
I also agree with you in that if a non DCL member wants to discuss concerns...well....they should...and CAN do so...on the forums and/or with the admins....it does not necessitate a town hall meeting.
So, imo, ....no...Birdseye should not have a vote on a TOWN HALL meeting for the DCL when he is NOT ON the DCL. I certainly would invite him to discuss things on the forums as he's already doing....and we already know he has the ear of a few Admin...he can certainly discuss things with the Admin. Heck he can even show up to a town-hall meeting if he wanted to....I don't have an issue with that either.
But a DCL meeting can only be voted on by DCL members imo...that just makes sense.

Forgive me I thought the poll was informal, I didn't know the rules, looks like you deleted my vote already. A town hall just sounded fun for some reason. How often do we get everyone in the same room, and just talk
I have curiosity in DCL but Retro requirement excludes me.

Bahamut, either you are taking yet another jab at me and trying to stir some chit or that was a bad way to ask if a retired member of the DCL has the opportunity to vote.
I am a member of the DCL (despite being retired currently) I also actively participate as DCL Admin. So, yes. I can vote on things as it relates to the DCL.
Birdseye, nothing to forgive. NO, I certainly did NOT delete your vote so feel free to do so now. If I was simply going to delete it I wouldn't have kindly asked you to remove it. The vote that was 'removed' was done so by Behemoth as his concerns were addressed in a 1 on 1 meeting with Admin. He will also be at the LAN with all admin and some council members in which he can pursue further discussions. I would not have an issue with you attending a town hall meeting....the only issue I have is a non DCL member calling for a DCL meeting....for obvious and practical reasons.
Birdseye, yeah the DCL requires retro as the form of D1 being played. D2 and D3 are optional but the D1 part is mandatory. If you joined the DCL it is likely that you would face formal challenges which at minimum must be played in D1retro. Birdseye, it is unfortunate that you were not able to get the mouse settings to your liking in retro, despite Drakona's personal attention to the matter. It would have been nice to have played matches with you when I was on the ladder competing. Find me for a casual game while I'm still doing those.
