Re: When can we get rid of Mumble?
The main thing I don't like about Mumble is it's primarily for voice. On Discord, you have to actually be in a voice channel to talk. Of course, that might just be the introvert in me talking...

Fair enough b2 ask around and see what everyone else thinks. In my opinion mumble is pretty low maintenance, its anything but flashy but it gets the job done. If people are using mumble instead of discord (Ranger Descent, The Observatory, Code's channel) its probably because they're choosing to do so.

Yeah, mumble sucks when using the gamepad. To navigate mumble, you have to use a physical mouse /KB and nothing else. But that's not the reason why I think we should move. It's because Mumble in general is bad. Maybe we all can find a better option? If the best option for the community is to stick with Mumble then so be it, but if there is a better option lets explore it.

I didn't mean to make anyone mad At all, that's not my intention I was just trying to let my opinion fly away
IN MY OPINION >>> I feel like choosing mumble over Discord is basically Saying Hey, i would primarily use DOS over Windows 10
And to all the people saying it will affect Chat users only... That's not entirely true, in fact, its more beneficial. you can create Many different chat groups in discord and chat in those while being in an entirely different channel, for instance say that there are 5 Chat channel and 2 Voice channels If you're in a voice lobby you can interact with all of those 5 chat lobby's while being able to hear other people, its one of the factors of discord that makes it flexible...
Another thing about mumble, is that its not updated AT ALL meaning when it comes to voice encoders it's lacking behind by YEARS. Discord is updated literally like 3 times every two weeks, for a big company like that, that's pretty big...
In mumble you have the choice to give and assign people with ranks, or "Admin Power" and that's really nice but it discord not only has that but it has A CRAP TON of options for your liking...
Discord also has community made Bots already usable, just like the one is Roncli's server. these bots optimize the use of discord making Discord more efficient and flexible giving you the ability to put music in lobbies, monitoring things that might happen and even keeping people out of the certain lobby's etc etc etc
Like I said I'm not saying that everyone would want to change but with more features better flexibility, and more things that are implemented in discord that we use third party websites for, it really makes no sense to why we chose mumble over discord
don't get me wrong though, I love mumble and I'm okay staying I'm just suggesting that discord is really REALLY good for gaming communities such as us...
just think about it...
