1.4X7 interface update
I'm updating the interface for 1.4X7 and want to present the user with some options. I'm mocking up those interfaces so we can discuss what would look good in Retro.
For reference, here's the current interface:

1.4X7 will include the current weapons and ammo available.
This is an idea for the interface to include "health" bars below the ships themselves. Ignore spacing and colors, this is a mockup.

This is an idea to display just text, but have it all by the score.

Similar to the last one, this changes the shield text to a bigger bar.

Also of note, that first idea with the bars on the ships is an idea for an alternate shield display to the text values in ALL observer cockpits.

I think I like the last one the most....BUT would also like the option to have both the BAR follow the ship (with better spacing of course) AND the percentage listed at the top simultaneously.

So you're thinking there'd be two separate options:
Shields on ship:
1) Text
2) Bar
3) None
Shields near score:
1) Text
2) Bar

I will 3rd that motion. Also, is x7 going to fix the freezing issue or is it more fortnite time?

I can't fix Windows.
[edit] Interesting to note, I tried turning on VSync. I had to turn my mouse sensitivity down by about half, but it actually helped. I'll be trying this on The Observatory to see if my freezes stop. They've been way less frequent, but still noticable.

I like the last option and Jedi's comments. I know this is only a mock up, but this is exciting!
Also, VSync may help the frames, but doesn't it adversely effect network code?

I haven't tried network play with VSync yet. I might do that tonight. Single player felt really good though, it got rid of the skips for me.
