Fall 2013 Props
Okay, we have a special award to give out at the end of the season: Props.
As you look back over the season, what stands out in your mind as cool? What did other pilots do that was just . . . extra awesome? These can be given for almost anything. Great attitude, a cool stat, a great rivalry, a great home level, even an incredible match. Try to keep them for "above and beyond" kinda stuff, but beyond that, anything goes.
Anyone who played matches can nominate anyone ELSE for one of these. It needs a second to pass. If you're getting one and you feel it's lame, you can refuse it. If the admins think one is lame, they also might veto it (but I'm sure we're not going to need to do that . . . ).
They come with a title and description, and are displayed on your profile. I'll start off with one, so you can see how it looks.

A couple more from me. These need seconds.
----------------------
Jediluke did a lot of amazing things this season, particularly if you look through the new stats. A 194 game streak against silver, for starters. But the one that stands out to me is his 50-0 record in Nysa. The guy is a beastly pilot over all, but Jedi in Nysa is something of a legend in the history of Descent, and it makes me smile to see it continue.
I don't think anyone else has an X-0 record in a level even half as long. He's 12-0 on Mega Nysa, too. And sure, a lot of those games were against me. But a lot of them weren't, and were against some of the toughest pilots on the ladder. And Jedi won every. last. one.
I nominate Jediluke for . . .
Title: The Legend Continues
Description: 50-0 in Nysa.
Second?
--------------------
One of the pilots I was most impressed with this season was Birddog. The guy is always playing, always working hard to get better, and never offers a word of complaint when you beat the stuffings out of him. He'll take on any challenge, regardless of how obscenely difficult it is, and have a good time while he's at it. Nor is he just a casual player -- take your eye off him for a minute, and he takes down a silver pilot!
I nominate Birddog for . . .
Title: Plucky Pilot
Description: No matter what the challenge, Birddog was ready for a fight with cheer and enthusiasm.

I second the DKH assassin
I second the Birddog Plucky Pilot
I nominate Drakona for: Most Improved Pilot Award (Drakona has completely transformed as a player this season!) anyone second that?
I nominate Mark392 for: Trophy Collector Award (Most trophies collected through sheer Descent awesomeness!) anyone second that?
I nominate Djcjr for: Randomly Show Up & Kick Bada$$es Butts Award (Djcjr doesn't play often, he can disappear for months at a time...the guy shows back up and beats the best pilots with out rust...in an effortless sorta way)
I nominate Bahamut: Most Matured Pilot (Bahamut really worked on himself successfully this season not only as a pilot kicking butt but also vastly improved his gaming'tude. Inspiring.)
I nominate SoulJah for: Rust Free Award (I've NEVER seen ANY pilot come back to Descent and play like a bada$$ from day 1 of his return showing no signs of rust...really REALLY was impressively scary)

Awarded.
You can give more than one to a pilot, by the way.

There was another one I wanted to suggest, but I couldn't think of a good name for it. I thought it was very cool when Lotharbot and Shyena took the #1 spot as silver pilots. Darkest horse? Supreme upset? Something like that.

The Sleeper?
Dark-Horse Supreme
Don't count me out
The Path of Extreme Resistance
The Odd-Shots
Disparity Dodgers
Vantage-Point
My personal favorite for one would be, but I don't know what it would be for: "Come at me bro!"
Ok, sorry those are all lame! Ill think more!
