No one's posted in here since February, but just wanted to see, what is the status of spectator mode? It works right, just requires levels specifically with a viewing area built-in?

no.

Spectator levels work without any special mode.

Spectator mode, now known as JinX mode (since he was working on it just before he died) would allow you to be a spectator without building special levels, but it hasn't been finished.

Ok, I've done a version of black rose, don't know what good it will be:

It will need testing and I had to make some minor changes because the lighting got screwed up in the process.

The main problem with my approach is, that there were not enough reactor cubes available (by far, it would take at least 30 more), so this might take some improvements/demolitions.

I've been told that it would probably be not a good idea to change the d1-code to allow for more cubes (http://www.dxx-rebirth.com/frm/index.ph ... 915.0.html) so this design of the level could just prove useless
