Gold Promo Challenges

Yeah. I'm inclined to agree. There are pros and cons . . .

The major pros are,

- diamond pilots are a crazy awesome challenge, especially when the stakes are high
- This is fun, both for them and you
- Promo challenges rule and nobody should be unable to participate


The cons are,

- It's really hard to balance. The algorithm has an expected score between any two players, but it kinda falls apart when they get more than about a tier apart. If you get 6 against Mark, like, what does that mean as to where you belong on the ladder? We all do that sometimes.
- It's a super hard challenge, which may be more fun for them than you, in what is already a pretty hard challenge

At the time, we were thinking balance > fun, and took them out of the gold challenges. But I'm not sure it was the right decision. Maybe there can be one diamond slot? Maybe there can be a fixed kill goal of *sticks thumb in the air* 11? Something like that? I dunno.

It's probably the top silver / bottom gold pilots who should chime in most.
