Tobycat has handled the changing eras, the changing of the community, the ebb and fade of skill, with tremendous affection and grace. His love of the game is true, and his positivity and friendship are a treasure. Here is a testament to the fact that times change, but greatness doesn't fade.

Playing only at LANs once a year, it was hard for him to watch the community catch and pass him in skill. And yet I remember him handling it with particular grace, making sure everyone who wanted the opportunity to play him, everyone who wanted a piece of Tobycat even as times changed, got one. I'm very grateful for that. The opportunity to play competitively with you meant the world to me, and your grace about it remains an example and an inspiration that I still look to in my own conduct.

Man, I still remember clearly back in the olden days I thought I was good in Pillbox. You showed me there was a much better way to play it (a synonym for “gave me a whoopin”).
