Those levels....Core?.... He's clearly not qualified to run on his feet much less the DCL!

Oh. This is easier than it looks. I think I know how to do this. What do you all think of this?
For any game you've played in the current season, you have a link you can click that says, "I want a rematch!" By clicking the link, you're saying you think you can improve your score. Winner or loser, doesn't matter. The other pilot gets a notification that you want a rematch. If you subsequently play, same level, same circumstances, same season, it counts. If you improve the margin, you get an award. "Take it back" or something. If you don't, they get one. "Hold the line". Playing some number of rematches, succeed or fail, gets you some sort of participation "Get after it" award.

I'm down. I love a good rematch. So, either party can ask for the rematch right!

thinking this out a little more.
Jedi vs Cyrus: Cyrus scores 17 to my 20. I initiate a challenge because I believe I can hold him to less than that on a rematch.
He accepts. We play. New score is 20-16. I'm not entirely sure I should get the award for that. I'm thinking a 1 kill difference in either direction isn't worthy of an award for either party.
Perhaps a 2 or 3 point spread is necessary. Just wanna see what ppl think about that.

What if that's 20-10 and you want to hold them to single digits? Or 20-1 and you want a shutout? I'd prefer keeping the 1 point spread as acceptable.

Odds are the score will differ by at least 1 point easily. I'm not sure that is really significant in a rematch. I win 20-1 and then the rematch I win 20-2 and the other guy gets an award for having performed better in the rematch?? seriously? same can be said for a game in which I won 20-1 and then we had a rematch and I won 20-0. It just really isn't that different.
If it is a one point spread then the award will be given out left and right and what meaning will it really have?
My initial gut reaction is that there should at least be a 3 point difference from the previous score to mean anything significant.
