Playing times?

Hey guys--wow I'm surprised there's a community for Descent!

I used to play back in the day on Kali, although under a different name.

I was wondering if you guys get together and play every once in a while. I just recently bought Descent1 again and have been playing using dxx-rebirth, but it looks like no one plays multiplayer anymore

We play multiplayer just about daily.

We meet on the Descent Rangers MUMBLE server mainly.

we play multiplayer using Retro, which is a modified version of Rebirth with several MP-critical fixes.

Latest version of Retro: http://www.roncli.com/gaming/descent/retro

Mumble (voice chat) server: mumble://mumble.descentrangers.com:6370 -- lots of people organize both 1v1 and larger games on that server. (Mumble download at https://wiki.mumble.info/ )

Retro, by the way, is awesome. Many fixes that make the game much more like the developers of Descent originally intended.

Sorry, somehow haven't read this board for like 2 weeks.
I don't remember where the UES game went but it was over 1000 - but it was hoard, which tends to score faster, or at least it does in UES because the goals are so hot they're radioactive. Anarchy, I'm not sure, maybe a few hundred?
Which reminds me, I have to talk to Verran about that marathon game this year...
