Vainiac's retirement
We all checked out some time ago but regardless, its still sad to see you go. This town is as dead as a dodo so who knows, maybe Overload 1v1 will pick up in the future and give us somewhere else to play. We'll see.
In my opinion Vainiac embodies everything I sought from the ladder. He's highly skilled (a multiple top pilot award winner), fiercely competitive, tough, resilient and never backed down from a challenge.
However, its his attitude that impressed me the most. Vainiac has conducted himself admirably showing great sportsmanship, courage and willingness to help others. He's been incredibly supportive to me and full of praise even right after matches where he felt he didn't perform as well as he could have.
Vainiac has shown a great willingness to play ladder matches in core, extended, non-core, limited weps, x's, opponents home levels, opponents created levels, new, old school and even levels from the depths of hell. This takes some balls and is highly commendable.
Thank you for all the matches we shared, all the fights and all of the advice you gave along the way. You were one of my favourite opponents as the matches played statistics would suggest. Good luck in the real world and hopefully we'll get to play again in the future. All the best.

I wanted to be more like Vainiac but alas....I am who I am.
Great games! Except for the ones that I lost vs you....those were clearly BS!

Thanks Lee! I always enjoyed our games too, and frankly you probably had the best attitude of any player on the ladder. Always up for any level no matter how out of favor it is in the current day. As for everyone else I never thought I'd get back into a game with such a solid group of people 20 years after it came out, I enjoyed playing with you all.
I'll still be stopping in for games occasionally, I unfortunately just haven't had the time or the drive to maintain a high level of competition recently.
