I need your help

OK!

I'm not some Connisuear of Technology, and I will never say that I am.

That's why I'm calling out to you guys.

PORT FORWARDING/HOSTING GAMES

Okay, so if you haven't been living under a rock for a year you would know that I can't Host games at all, all be becuase i didn't have access to my router Blah, Blah, Blah.

Long story Short, I have a new router that was given after... Mmmmmm 7 calls.

It was installed this morning and I tested out the new Interface, Oh yeah... I have one now!

I went over to my Advanced tab ready to open my ports... And Whoops... It didn't work...

What do I do now! what am I missing? HELP

ALAS! THE MONSTER IS SLAIN!

Yes, someone helped me fix it...

PHYREX!

He suggested that I forward the port to 55902, and sure enough, it works! we played a game for about 15 minutes!

Possible Cause >> ISP blocking 42424, 42425, or anything around that area

Although it seemed impossible... it wasn't? didn't think that one out

I wasnt asking why 42424 didnt work, i was asking why 55902 would work. can you just enter any random 5 digit number?

Apparently it's not 100% fixed, he's getting crashes on 1.4X6. I don't think it's related to that version, though.

No its not related to my ports issue thing. it has something to do with the EXE.

also why i chose not to bring it up, Lol.
