The Observatory Off-Season Episode

As mentioned in the other thread, let's plan an Observatory episode that's outside the current format.

I'm considering Saturday 10/13 5 PM Eastern since that's opposite the Rangers game days, but am open to moving it.

We also don't have to air live, we can pre-record for those who can't make the event.

Come up with anything! Challenge matches, commentated demo videos, DCLs, demo watching party, whatever!

I especially like the audience vote idea, I've been wanting to get chat involved more in the matches (go back to voting for who you think will win, voting for which match to watch, etc). Maybe not such a direct influence during the season, but for a variety show this idea is great. We'd just need some pilots willing to try it!

Any word on off-cast matches or demo commentary I could record for people (Lee) who won't be able to be there?

I really think that Take2 between Morf & melvin with both of them in the same chat room talking to each other HAS to happen.

Would you guys be up for doing that, if not the day of, sometime this week?

I also think we should do a proper demo-viewing party on stream. I am really good with the 10-19 comeback being the selected match, but am open to any others that are interesting.
