3d pro dead

So it finally happened. My 3d pro slide down ate the big one. It works when it wants now. I will be retiring or rank dropping to allow others to have a blast until I get it worked out. Either switching to my logitech, trying to repair, or ordering a new one. I'll be playing, but it's going to take a minute to adjust to whatever change I make.

I'm pretty OK with my Logitech stick. It's not identical, but it's close enough. Builds the triceps too with that damn big spring.

Hat switch repair shouldn't be too difficult. But it is tedious.

I would offer to send you one of mine, but I'm certain they are a bit worn out. My Logitech serves me well, but I must not have the same one as lothar because mine is easy to crank. 3dpro is still lighter.

I'd say go mouse. I'll help you out if you need it with everything. When 1.4 releases I'll be playing a hell of a lot more. We can run some benchmark tests to see where you stand between the two. The change for me was surprisingly easy after the mouse fix (thanks Roncli) about a month+ after coming back. You can try the Logitech 3D pro before making up your mind. It's so cheap but I heard the also break pretty easy.
