Heh, walls, I remember now. In that game I talked about above, the tipping point for when I stopped looking at the scores was when I saw Assman dive down the hallway under the grate, so I tossed a smart and had a HUGE lead to cut him off in the larger hallway in the back. I trichorded down that center hallway... and ran smack into the upper wall in the reactor room, just before the hallway I was going to cut him off at, my pyro refusing to move any further.
I was like "f--- this", and AFK'd for 2 minutes. >_<

Haha! Yeah, I remember that part. My butt got tight and I ran back. Met you in that room and you didn't move so I flared you in the tailpipe and ran.
I think that's the point when I said you were pulling a me.

I'm going to chime in here, because I'm feeling the pain, and Hate according to Morfod! It's frustrating looking back a decade ago when I stopped playing. Not sure why that happened, but had some very high-stress, job loss related things going on at the time. I've played a few times since then, but never really committed to it... until now. That being said, it's been fun playing, but also VERY frustrating dealing with the relearning curve. I enjoy hearing how I can improve my 1v1 strategies and what I might want to work on. I take that feedback very seriously and I think I've improved substantially since my 1st DCL match just a few days ago. There is still plenty of rust to clear to get back to 50% of my former self. Considering how much has changed, I will get there. Going from D2 -> D1, Anarchy -> 1v1, learning to use rear view button, learning to tri-cord A LOT BETTER, learning to fire(and avoid) that blasted Fusion, no AB, no SpaceOrb.... yeah, a lot has changed!
If we're in a match and I get frustrated... it's not with you... it's been a very "humbling" return and my frustrations are internal. I'm the one piloting the Pyro, engaging and evading.
I welcome your feedback and look forward to flying with everyone real soon.

I've had a bit of an idea in my head. If I were to make a video where I go through a demo and point out all the patterns I can find, would anyone be interested in watching this? I'm very curious to get some feedback from pilots better than myself on things I might have missed, and I think maybe I'd be able to point out some things that others wouldn't catch.
In the smash community we don't have as easy access to things like demos or replays, but we talk a lot about optimal choices to make in certain situations. My idea is to sort of bring these two together. Take advantage of the demo system in the game and try to promote conversation about recognizing patterns and how to punish them properly.

I'd be interested. That sort of analysis is one of the things I'm weaker at, I think.

Ditto for me. This may be a good thing to do along with (or before or after) our scheduled demo watching sessions.

It's 4.56 gigs and 80 minutes long ;_;
I recorded it in OBS at 800*600, 30 FPS, with other settings that I have no idea what they do. The most that I know right now is that I should compress this as much as I can with 7zip and then toss it up on Google Drive.
Does anyone know anything about how I might slim down the filesize? Or should I just try to put it up on YouTube? My upload speed is pretty bad lol.
[Edit] No internet for 20 hours while it uploads, woo hoo.

Jedi has expanded his mindtrix to other sports.. This remind me when I don't shoot back at people and they stop shooting at me. Then I take them out.
