Re: Congratulations on 5^H 6 trophies, Mark392!
Not to be a stickler but should a "complete domination" medal be deserved when not all trophies in possession were earned? Considering mark392 did not earn the fusion from djcjr. Mark May have held it previously, but winning it from djcjr is a completely different story. Marks previous loss to djcjr for the fusion trophy was a complete blow-out. Honest observation and taking nothing away from my buddy Mark392 amazing skills!
If anything, Bahamut put up the best score against djcjr when it was in his possession, that would in my opinion be a better argument for who the trophy belongs to after inactivity forces the repo.

That argument cuts both ways, through. Bahamut may have gotten one more point on Dj than Mark did (10 vs 9), but Mark had crushed bahamut 20-9 to get the trophy in the first place.
I think it makes the most sense to revert trophies to previous owners. Being a champion at something is different from being close to being one. And plus, that mimics the behavior with the top ladder spot -- if you take it and then rank drop, the other guy will get it back. I only did it the other way with the dogfighting trophy because MD had started with it and it didn't have a previous owner.
Sure, it's different to take it from bahamut and then inherit it from DJ vs. taking it from DJ directly. It's different to take the top spot from Jinx than from Jeds, too! You still get the medal for it. Most important thing is that the system be reasonably fair, and after that . . . consistent.
And I do think reverting trophies to previous owners is pretty fair.
As to whether you should get Complete Domination for inheriting trophies . . . that is not a can of worms I want to open. If we start arguing about whether circumstances made things easier, we could be here all day.

No asterisk, well deserved by Mark! He should play bahamut for the fusion one to put aside any doubt, if there was some... of which I personally have none.
He's an extremely versatile pilot and can excel in all of those trophy styles. I also agree with Drakona regarding inheritance- it makes 100% sense for it to be the same as the top spot, the one who lost it getting it back.
Congrats on this Mark, I hope you don't hang onto them all for long, though! I bet Loni, bahamut, or DKH might try to steal a few from you, just to name a few :P (although I see you've narrowly escaped Loni in defending two already, both overtime games... wow!).

I believe Mark certainly deserves the recognition (and award). I suppose it would have been better had he beaten me for the fusion trophy (and MD for the dog trophy), but you can't ignore the accomplishment of having all 6 concurrently. Congrats Mark!
It's unlikely that this scenario will happen again. Just in case it does, should there be a rule in place to avoid any future doubt? Say, if a person inherits a trophy, should they have to defend it once or twice before they're "awarded" it?

I'm all for keeping the rule simple. If you have a trophy, you have it.
